1. Product Overview

TECHNOMELT AS 8998 (e) is a silicone-free, halogen-free, RoHS-compliant hot melt polyolefin designed for masking applications in conformal coating processes. It offers:

  • Easily peelable without residues
  • Zero outgassing at 100°C
  • Fast processing with 100% solid content
  • Good resistance to conformal coating ingression
  • No additional curing required (solidifies upon cooling)

  • Masking off areas before conformal coating
  • Suitable for use in electronics manufacturing
