TEROSON® EP 5055 Panel Bonder

1. Product Overview

TEROSON® EP 5055 is a two-component epoxy-based structural adhesive designed for panel bonding applications in collision repair. It provides high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) improvement. This solvent-free adhesive bonds metal panels, including steel, aluminum, and sheet molding compounds, without the need for a primer.

  • Mix Ratio (by volume): 1:1 (Resin: Hardener)
  • Viscosity: Medium
  • Appearance (Mixed): Dark grey paste
  • Cure: Room temperature or accelerated cure at 60°C (1 hour) or 100°C (30 minutes)
  • Application Temperature: 10 to 35°C (50 to 95°F)
  • Service Temperature: -40 to 80°C (-40 to 176°F) (Short-term exposure up to 120°C (248°F))
  • Compatible Materials: Bare steel, aluminum alloys, zinc-coated steel, coated body parts
