1. Product Overview

TEROSON® PV 3412 AA-25 is a solvent-free PVC plastisol seam sealer designed for automotive applications. It cures by heat at temperatures above 140 °C for 15 minutes and demonstrates reliable paintability with common filler and topcoat systems without negative effects. The product offers strong adhesion to electro-dip coated steel substrates and maintains performance across typical automotive service conditions.


2. Applications

The material is used primarily as a seam sealant for butt and overlap joints in automotive body structures, applicable to both interior and exterior seams. It is applied to electro-dip steel sheets using high-pressure pumps (45:1 to 84:1 ratio), with both airless and air-mix systems, and can be adapted to robotic spray applications.
