1. Product Overview
tesa® 4980 is a transparent double-sided PET filmic tape with a tackified acrylic adhesive. With a total thickness of 80 µm, it delivers reliable bonding strength to most smooth and even substrates. The strong PET backing ensures superior converting performance, while its reduced initial tack allows repositioning during assembly. This makes it highly suitable for precise applications in electronics, signage, and decorative mounting.
