tesa® 54336 is a high-strength PET tape featuring an extra-thick 400 µm modified acrylic adhesive layer, developed specifically for the automotive sector. It provides excellent sealing performance, ensuring reliable corrosion protection by securely covering unused holes and punch burrs. With temperature resistance up to 190°C, the tape is fully compatible with paint ovens, PVC coatings, and underbody coatings (UBC). Its robust adhesion to painted and reinforced plastic substrates makes it ideal for lightweight automotive construction.
