1. Product Overview
tesa® 58372 is a 50µm translucent double-sided PET flame retardant tape featuring a tackified acrylic adhesive. It offers strong bonding, flame retardancy compliant with UL 94 VTM-0, and reliable long-term performance. The PET backing enhances converting efficiency, while the white/red glassine liner ensures easy release without residue. The tape is halogen-free and conforms to RoHS and REACH standards.

2. Applications

  • EV battery pack sealing, especially when laminated with foam to meet flame retardant requirements in e-mobility

  • General mounting uses within automotive systems and environments requiring anti-flaming properties
