1. Product Overview
tesa® 7140 is a specialized masking tape for automotive window flange protection. It consists of a PVC and PET film laminate, combining PVC’s durability with PET’s high tensile modulus. The tape enables direct application of window panes onto e-coated flange areas without the need for primers or additional surface pretreatment. It is compatible with e-coats, fillers, and window adhesives, ensuring reliable performance in automotive production processes.
