1. Product Overview

tesa® HAF 8475 is a 125 µm heat-activated, double-sided thermosetting film composed of phenolic resin and nitrile rubber, with no backing and protected by a strong paper liner. Halogen-free and RoHS-compliant, it is non-tacky at room temperature and activated through heat and pressure. The tape delivers highly reliable, elastic, and aging-resistant bonds, even in small bonding areas or thin design gaps, with minimal oozing. It is suitable for long-term applications under heavy stress.

2. Applications

  • Bonding metal components (SUS or AL) to plastics such as PMMA, PC, or ABS.

  • Constructive bonding inside electronic devices.

  • Button fixation.

  • Camera lens and bezel mounting.

  • Bonding decorative metal components.
