1. Product Overview
VIGON® PE 180 is a water-based, pH-neutral defluxing agent formulated for Power Electronics and PCBAs, designed for use in spray-in-air equipment. It efficiently removes flux residues while maintaining excellent material compatibility, providing deoxidized copper surfaces for subsequent processes such as wire or adhesive bonding and molding. Its MPC® Technology ensures long bath life and reliable cleaning performance, and the formulation is safe, environmentally friendly, and free of flash points or foaming issues, allowing operation without explosion-proof measures.

Defluxing of Power Electronics, PCBAs, leadframes, discrete devices, power modules, and power LEDs.
Cleaning in spray-in-air equipment (inline and batch) and dip tanks with ultrasonic or semi-ultrasonic support.
Preparation of stainless, activated copper surfaces for subsequent wire bonding, molding, or adhesive bonding processes.
Suitable for lead-free solder pastes and various flux residues, reducing particle contamination.
