1. Product Overview

WEVO-Casting Resin PD 52 is a two-component polyurethane encapsulating system formulated with mineral fillers. It combines high flexibility with excellent chemical resistance against acids and alkalis, while maintaining superior low-temperature performance. The system provides strong adhesion to plastics, metals, and glass, alongside a stable dielectric constant across a wide frequency and temperature range. Its service temperature extends from -60°C to +125°C. The resin is processed with WEVO-Hardener 385, and curing can be accelerated as required.


2. Applications

  • Encapsulation and coating of pressure-sensitive electrical and electronic components.

  • Specifically used for sensors and SMD-equipped printed circuit boards.

  • Suitable for environments requiring chemical resistance, electrical insulation, and dimensional stability.
