1. Product Overview

Stobicast® L 781.XX is a two-component elastic polyurethane casting compound engineered for superior mechanical and electrical performance. It offers excellent impact strength, resistance to water, transformer oil, gasoline, and various chemicals, making it particularly suitable for low-voltage insulation. The system is UL 94 V-0 certified for self-extinguishing properties, free of halogen and antimony-based flame retardants, and fully compliant with RoHS and WEEE directives. Additionally, it meets IEC 60335 glow wire standards, with GWFI at 850 °C and GWIT at 775 °C, ensuring high safety in electrical and electronic applications.

2. Applications

  • Insulation of low-voltage electrical components such as transformers, coils, and switchgear.

  • Encapsulation of electronic modules requiring high dielectric strength and thermal endurance.

  • Suitable for environments exposed to oils, fuels, and moisture where long-term reliability is essential.

  • Used in flame-retardant casting applications for household and industrial equipment.
