ARALDITE® AV 180-2 / HARDENER HY 180-2 is a two-component, room-temperature curing epoxy adhesive. It is designed for structural bonding and impregnation of carbon fiber materials, providing excellent mechanical strength, good flexibility, and durability. The product is solvent-free, environmentally friendly, and suitable for use in multiple orientations, including horizontal, vertical, and overhead applications. It demonstrates strong adhesion to a variety of substrates, including metals, ceramics, concrete, and carbon fiber.

Surface Pretreatment: All bonding surfaces should be dry, clean, and free of dust, oil, or grease. Carbon fiber fabric must also be cleaned prior to application.
Mixing & Application:
Mix Araldite® AV180-2 CF and HY180-2 CF in a weight ratio of 10:3.
Stir until fully homogeneous.
Apply evenly within the working time.
Minimum curing: ~24 hours at 25°C to reach 80% lap shear strength.
Full curing: ~7 days at 25°C.
