1. Product Overview
DOWSIL™ Q3-6575 Dielectric Gel is a two-part, very soft, clear silicone gel with a 1:1 mix ratio. It is designed for low-temperature applications, maintaining flexibility from -80°C to 200°C (-112°F to 392°F). The gel cures quickly with heat, forming a soft, resilient material that provides cushioning, stress relief, and electrical insulation for delicate electronic components. Its soft, self-healing nature reduces mechanical and thermal stresses while maintaining dimensional stability, making it suitable for high-voltage protection, moisture isolation, and encapsulation of sensitive PCB assemblies.

2. Applications
DOWSIL™ Q3-6575 is used in PCB system assemblies, optoelectronics, and other delicate electronics requiring stress relief and protection from thermal, mechanical, and environmental factors. It helps manage CTE mismatches, reduces field failures, and can be applied in thick layers for full encapsulation. The gel also provides electrical insulation, moisture protection, and cushioning for sensitive components. Application methods include manual dispensing, meter-mix equipment, or using bladder packs to prevent air entrapment.
