Parker Chomerics CHO-FORM 5541 is a conductive form-in-place gasket material based on thermoset RTV silicone elastomer filled with conductive particles. It is designed to provide reliable EMI shielding and grounding performance while maintaining excellent mechanical resilience. The material offers a broad deflection range with lower deflection forces, enhancing sealing reliability. With inherent corrosion resistance, it reduces the need for nickel/tin plating or secondary environmental gaskets. CHO-FORM 5541 is well-suited for both metallic and plated plastic housings, balancing cost and performance through multiple filler options.
